"A People's Guide to New York City" is a collaborative class project undertaken by NYU students in Wendy Cheng's Fall 2009 course, "Race, Space, and the Production of Inequality." Taking inspiration from the book project A People's Guide to Los Angeles (Pulido, Barraclough, and Cheng; forthcoming) students researched, visited, and photographed sites in New York City that illustrate the workings of racism, power, and inequality in the landscape.
